Arc-en-Vigne Sparkling is a traditional-method sparkling wine from the Chikuma River Valley in Nagano, blending estate-grown Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Unlike the winery's varietal Kyoho and Chardonnay sparklings, this is an extended-aged cuvée: bottle-fermented and rested on lees for years to develop a creamy, fine-beaded mousse alongside notes of ripe apple, apricot, peach, toast, and nuts. The result is a dry, structured sparkling wine that showcases the cool-climate precision of the Chikuma River Wine Valley.
This blended, extended-aged cuvée is Arc-en-Vigne's most refined sparkling wine — the toasty depth from lees aging sets it clearly apart from their single-varietal Kyoho and Chardonnay sparklings.
