Family grower Champagne from Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, vinified mainly in oak
About André Robert
André Robert is a family-run grower Champagne estate based in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, a Grand Cru village of the Côte des Blancs. The family farms 65 parcels in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Oger, Vertus, Cuis and Étrechy, among other sites, and the wines are known for chalk-driven Chardonnay. The current house and its 19th-century chalk cellars were bought by André Robert in 1960. Today the domaine is led by fifth-generation Claire Robert and her husband Jean-Baptiste Denizart. Vinification is carried out mainly in oak barrels, with a measured, low-intervention approach and extended ageing on the lees.
