About André Jacquart
Champagne André Jacquart is a family-run grower estate (récoltant-manipulant) based in Vertus, Côte des Blancs. The family's vineyard story dates to 1908, when Michel Jacquart bought his first vines in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger; his son André founded the eponymous house in 1958. Since 2004 it has been run by André's grandchildren Marie and Benoît Doyard. The range is built on the terroirs of Vertus (Premier Cru) and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger (Grand Cru), with Blanc de Blancs at its core. Signature choices are vinification in Burgundian oak barrels, no malolactic fermentation, long ageing (at least 4 years for non-vintage, 8 years for vintages) and low dosage. The estate was certified HVE level 3 in 2019.
