Agricola Carlini is a small, family-run winery in the San Rocco hamlet of Suvereto, on the Tuscan coast near the Val di Cornia. Founded by Lorenzo Carlini, whose grandfather Bruno once ran a wine business in Chianti's Lucarelli before the mid-1980s methanol scandal prompted a change of course, the estate today farms roughly one hectare of vineyard alongside half a hectare of olive grove in a traditional mixed planting. Lorenzo focuses on bright, mineral white wines -- chiefly Vermentino and Viognier -- alongside reds built from Sangiovese and Prugnolo Gentile. Agricola Carlini is a founding member of the Consorzio di Tutela Suvereto e Val di Cornia Wine, formed in 2021 among 27 local producers to protect and promote the DOC and DOCG denominations of the territory.
