Clos des Andes
Bodega Poesía is a boutique estate in Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza, founded around 1998-2000 by French Bordeaux winemakers Hélène Garcin-Lévêque and Patrice Lévêque. Its flagship red, Clos des Andes, comes from a single 13-hectare plot planted in 1935 with own-rooted (ungrafted) Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon, farmed organically without formal certification. The wines blend French winemaking precision with the high-altitude character of Argentine terroir, aged in French oak for structured, age-worthy reds.

- Why is it called the First Zone?
- It is called the First Zone because it was the first region in Mendoza to be officially recognized with a Denominación de Origen Controlada (DOC) status, in 1993.
- What makes the climate of Luján de Cuyo special for wine growing?
