Villa I Cipressi is a small, family-run estate on the road from Montalcino toward Sant'Angelo in Colle and Grosseto, about 1 km from the historic village. Founded in the mid-1970s when Hubert Ciacci expanded his father's beekeeping business, the estate added Sangiovese vineyards and olive groves in the 1990s and released its first Brunello di Montalcino and Rosso di Montalcino in 2000. The Ciacci family — Hubert, his wife Patrizia, and sons Dario and Federico — farms 3.5 hectares of Sangiovese across two distinct sites: sandy-silt soils near Castelnuovo dell'Abate at 250m and limestone-clay soils on the hill's western side at 450m. The estate is certified organic, uses solar power, and is best known for 'Zebras', its top Brunello selection made only in the finest vintages, named for the striped murals painted in its underground cellar. Alongside wine, the family produces artisanal honey, extra virgin olive oil, and Grappa di Brunello.
