Tenuta Le Colonne is a Bolgheri estate located in Donoratico, in the southernmost and closest-to-the-sea part of the appellation. Acquired in 2016 by Alejandro Bulgheroni Family Vineyards (ABFV), the estate is managed by general manager Stefano Capurso and farms Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Syrah and Vermentino on sandy, volcanic-origin soils cooled by sea breezes. Since 2019 the vineyards and winery have been fully certified organic. The estate's Bolgheri Rosso and Bolgheri Superiore DOC wines are internationally recognized for their elegance, freshness and refined tannic structure, reflecting the coastal terroir that gives Bolgheri its reputation as one of Italy's premier fine-wine appellations.
