Talenti
タレンティ
A benchmark for traditional, structured, and elegant Brunello di Montalcino.
Founded in 1980 by Pierluigi Talenti, the legendary winemaker who built Tenuta Il Poggione's reputation from 1958 to 1999, this estate is located at Pian di Conte in the southern part of Montalcino, near Sant'Angelo in Colle. Pierluigi purchased the property after decades at Il Poggione and dedicated it to a traditional, structured style of Brunello. Today the winery is run by his grandson, Riccardo Talenti, who took over at just 20 years old following Pierluigi's death in 1999. The estate farms roughly 20 hectares of vineyard within its 40-hectare property, benefiting from a warm, well-ventilated microclimate that yields wines of exceptional structure, complexity, and aging potential.
