Sant'Agnese

サンタニェーゼ

Wind-swept Piombino coast wines from a family estate since 1994.

Sant'Agnese is a small family-run estate on the Piombino promontory of the Tuscan coast, in the province of Livorno. Purchased by the Gigli family in 1994 and developed with dedication by Paolo Gigli, the roughly 6-hectare vineyard benefits from a distinctive microclimate shaped by constant sea winds, which slow ripening and encourage healthy fruit with concentrated polyphenols. The estate is a member of the Consorzio di Tutela Suvereto e Val di Cornia Wine and produces Val di Cornia DOC wines from Vermentino, Merlot, and Sangiovese Grosso, often aged in French oak barriques. Farming follows the sustainable 'Agricoltura Integrata' approach rather than formal organic certification.
