About this wine

Quinta do Crasto Vintage Port is an exceptional expression of the Douro Valley's terroir, produced only in the finest years from grapes grown on old vines (over 60 years old). The winemaking process honors tradition, with grapes foot-trodden in granite lagares to ensure gentle extraction. The wine is aged for approximately two years in large Portuguese oak vats before being bottled unfiltered. It is characterized by its opaque, dark color, intense aromas of wild berries, rockrose, and cocoa, and a powerful yet elegant structure with fine-grained tannins. This wine possesses remarkable complexity and significant potential for long-term bottle aging.
