ポメッティ
Organic Orcia DOC estate famed for its Sangiovese blend Centosei.
Founded in 1998 in Trequanda, near Siena, Pometti is a family-run estate in the Val d'Orcia hills. The 11-hectare property sits at roughly 350 meters above sea level, benefiting from a ventilated, cool microclimate ideal for Sangiovese. Since the 2020 harvest, all Pometti wines have been organically certified, and the estate runs on photovoltaic energy with an innovative phytopurification system for wastewater. Its flagship wine, Centosei (also labeled '106'), is an Orcia DOC red blending roughly 90% Sangiovese with 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, aged for about 12 months in French oak barrique. Alongside wine, the estate produces organic extra virgin olive oil and hosts an agritourism experience rooted in family tradition and Tuscan hospitality.
