Podere 7
ポデーレ・セッテ
A family-run, fully organic Bolgheri estate since 2018.
Podere 7 (also known as Podere Sette) is a boutique estate in the heart of Bolgheri, Tuscany, founded in 2018 by Marisa Chiappini. Marisa, whose family had earlier built the respected Fattoria Casa di Terra, set out to create a more personal, artisan project: she restored a small historic family property and planted 5 hectares of vineyard, converting the entire estate to organic farming from the outset. The winery is now run together with her son Giuliano and grandson Alessio. Its name and wine labels playfully reference the seven deadly sins jokingly attributed to Giuliano — L'Invidio (Envy), Il Superbo (Pride), L'Iracondo (Wrath) and Il Goloso (Gluttony) — giving a lighthearted identity to otherwise serious, terroir-driven Bolgheri DOC reds and a Vermentino, several of which have earned 90+ point scores from critics such as Falstaff and James Suckling.
