モッカガッタ

Mastering the terroir of Neive with elegant, single-vineyard Barbaresco.

Located in the town of Barbaresco near the border with Neive, Moccagatta is a family-run estate whose vineyards have belonged to the Minuto family since the mid-1800s. Luigi Minuto began bottling wine from the estate in 1913, and the winery took its current name and identity in 1952 when the property was divided among his sons. Today Franco and Sergio Minuto, alongside the next generation Stefano and Martina, farm roughly 15 hectares and are best known for their single-vineyard Barbaresco from three prestigious crus: Basarin, Cole, and Bric Balin. The estate blends traditional Piedmontese winemaking with modern precision, producing Nebbiolo-driven wines of elegance, structure, and notable aging potential, alongside Barbera, Dolcetto, and Chardonnay.
