Located in Novello, in the heart of the Langhe, L'Astemia (Azienda Agricola Roberta Valletti) is a small, family-run organic winery established in 2019. Founded by Roberta Valletti, who represents the fifth generation of a family with deep roots in local viticulture, the estate focuses on limited-production, high-quality wines. The winery is particularly noted for its commitment to the 'Nascetta del Comune di Novello,' a rare indigenous white grape variety, alongside traditional red wines like Dolcetto and Nebbiolo. Every step, from vineyard management to vinification, is certified organic, reflecting a philosophy of respect for the land and authentic expression of the terroir. Note: this is a completely separate and independent legal entity from 'L'Astemia Pentita,' the well-known Barolo estate owned by Cristina Oberto.
