Kewin Descombes, affectionately known as 'Kéké,' is a rising star in the Beaujolais region. As the son of the legendary natural winemaker Georges Descombes, Kewin grew up immersed in the philosophy of minimal intervention. He released his first vintage in 2013 at the age of 21, taking over some of his father's vines, and today farms approximately 6-7 hectares in Morgon organically, with his oldest vines around 80 years old. His winemaking relies on spontaneous fermentation, semi-carbonic maceration, and little or no added sulfur. His wines are celebrated for their purity, vibrant fruit expression, and exceptional drinkability, reflecting the authentic terroir of Beaujolais without synthetic chemicals or additives.
