Located in the Fossoni hamlet of Suvereto on the Tuscan coast, Incontri is a family-run estate founded in 1967 by Martellino Martelli and now led by his grandson Alessandro Martelli. The winery practices closed-circuit organic and biodynamic farming, following the lunar calendar, and produces natural wines with zero added sulfites, including distinctive orange wines pioneered from 2010. Incontri is a member of the Consorzio Suvereto e Val di Cornia Wine, and its estate wines are rooted in the clay soils of the Val di Cornia appellation, expressing Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Vermentino and Trebbiano in both classified DOC bottlings and Toscana IGT cuvées.
