Founded in 1878 by Enrico Serafino in Canale, in the heart of the Roero district of Piedmont, this historic winery has long been a pioneer of Alta Langa DOCG, Italy's traditional-method sparkling wine, and today remains one of its most awarded producers. Since 2015 the estate has been run by the Krause Gentile family, who added a prized vineyard in Serralunga d'Alba while preserving the winery's artisan, terroir-driven approach. The house is certified under Italy's VIVA sustainability guidelines, using renewable energy, minimal water consumption, and heavily recycled glass. Beyond its acclaimed Alta Langa sparkling wines, Enrico Serafino produces prestigious Barolo, Barbaresco (including the celebrated Bricco di Neive cru from the Neive MGA), and Gavi, crafting elegant, age-worthy wines that reflect the rich heritage of the Langhe and Roero.
