Founded in 1982 by winemaker Seppi Landmann in Soultzmatt, in the heart of Alsace's Vallée Noble at the foot of the Zinnkoepflé hill, Domaine Seppi Landmann built its reputation on bold, terroir-driven wines and an unmatched dedication to the Sylvaner grape — a variety often dismissed as ordinary but elevated here to Grand Cru-worthy complexity from vines up to seventy years old on the Zinnkoepflé's limestone-marl soils. In 2011 the estate entered a partnership with the neighboring Rieflé family (together trading as Domaine Rieflé-Landmann), which has continued Seppi Landmann's vineyards and wines under organic farming (AB-certified since 2014) while preserving the estate's own name and its playful, one-of-a-kind cuvée style.
