Domaine Léon Baur (trading as Maison Léon Baur) is a family wine estate in the historic village of Eguisheim, Alsace, farming vines that have passed from father to son for nine generations since 1738. The house is currently run by Jean-Louis Baur together with his daughter Caroline, who joined the estate in 2010. The domaine cultivates around 10–11 hectares, including parcels in three Alsace Grand Cru vineyards — Eichberg and Pfersigberg in Eguisheim, and Kaefferkopf in Ammerschwihr — and produces the full range of Alsace varietals (Riesling, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc/Klevner, Muscat, Pinot Noir) as well as traditional-method Crémant d'Alsace. Wines are vinified in temperature-controlled stainless steel and aged in old wooden tuns in centuries-old cellars beneath the village ramparts. The estate holds HVE (Haute Valeur Environnementale) certification and has been recognized at competitions including the Concours International de Lyon and the Decanter World Wine Awards.
