Domaine Labet is a family estate in Rotalier, in the Sud Revermont section of the Côtes du Jura, founded in 1974 by Alain and Josie Labet. Since their retirement in 2013, the domaine has been run by the next generation of siblings — Julien, Charline, and Romain Labet — who united two family holdings into a single estate. The property farms roughly 14 hectares across 45 micro-parcels in Rotalier, Vercia, Grusse, and Lons-le-Saunier, producing around 30 cuvées a year from Chardonnay, Savagnin, and Poulsard. Farmed organically since 2007 (Ecocert-certified since 2013), the domaine practices minimal-intervention winemaking with native-yeast fermentation and progressively lower sulfur additions — a direction Julien pushed further after returning to the estate in 1997 following experience in Burgundy and South Africa. Many cuvées, including the well-known limestone-driven 'Bajocien' Chardonnay, are made with little to no added sulfur and long élevage in old oak.
