Domaine Gérard Nicollet
ドメーヌ・ジェラール・ニコレ
Four generations of Zinnkoepflé Grand Cru winegrowing since 1920.
Founded in 1920 when brothers Jean-Baptiste and Ernest Nicollet replanted the family's vines in Soultzmatt's Vallée Noble after phylloxera, Domaine Nicollet (also trading as Gérard Nicollet et Fils) has been passed down through four generations of the same family. Gérard Nicollet began estate-bottling in the 1960s, and today his descendant Marc Nicollet, working alongside his partner Sara, farms roughly 14 hectares around Soultzmatt, including parcels on the prestigious Zinnkoepflé Grand Cru. Certified Terra Vitis and Haute Valeur Environnementale (HVE) for sustainable viticulture, the estate produces the full range of Alsatian varieties — Sylvaner, Riesling, Pinot Gris and Gewurztraminer — alongside Crémant d'Alsace, Vendanges Tardives and Sélection de Grains Nobles cuvées. In 2021 Marc Nicollet received the Prix d'Excellence at the Concours Général Agricole de Paris, a distinction recognizing sustained mastery rather than a single vintage.
