Domaine du Crêt de Bine
ドメーヌ・デュ・クレ・ド・ビーヌ
Demeter-certified biodynamic Gamay from Sarcey, Beaujolais
Domaine du Crêt de Bine is a fifth-generation family estate in Sarcey, a hilltop village in the southwestern corner of Beaujolais, perched around 400 meters between the Monts Beaujolais and the Monts du Lyonnais. In autumn 2008, François and Marie-Thérèse Subrin converted the property to organic and biodynamic farming; today the domaine is run by their daughter Florence and her cousin Geoffroy. The roughly 11-hectare vineyard sits on granitic pink-sand and basaltic soils, certified organic by Ecocert and biodynamic by Demeter. Gamay is the estate's core variety, complemented by a small parcel of Chardonnay, yielding fresh, mineral-driven Beaujolais reds alongside white, rosé, and sparkling cuvées.
