Domaine des Canailles

ドメーヌ・デ・カナイユ

Biodynamic high-altitude Gamay and Chardonnay from the Pierres Dorées, vinified naturally with no filtration and minimal sulfur.

Domaine des Canailles is a natural wine estate founded in 2019 by two friends, Simon Pérot and Etienne Ubaud, in Ternand in the Pierres Dorées sector of southern Beaujolais. They took over 8 hectares of vines (7 ha of Gamay and 1 ha of Chardonnay) from Jean-Jacques Paire, farmed organically since 2005 and now cultivated biodynamically, planted on granitic soils between 450 and 550 meters altitude. Vinifications are natural: indigenous yeasts, no filtration, no fining, and only minimal sulfur added at bottling if necessary. Their fresh, energetic cuvées such as Le Rosé du Matin, Metro Bouillet, and White Side of the Moon have made them a rising name among natural wine enthusiasts.
