Domaine de Fa
ドメーヌ・ド・ファ
The Graillot family's elegant, organic expression of Beaujolais.
Domaine de Fa was established in 2013 by the legendary Alain Graillot of Crozes-Hermitage and his sons, Maxime and Antoine. Based in Saint-Amour in the heart of Beaujolais — 'Fa' is short for Faye, the lieu-dit where the family set up their winery — the estate farms around 10 hectares across Fleurie, Saint-Amour, Cote de Brouilly, and Beaujolais-Villages. Since 2019, the vineyards have been certified organic. The winemaking emphasizes whole-cluster semi-carbonic maceration with minimal sulfur, aiming to capture the purity of Gamay from granite terroirs. The wines are celebrated for their freshness, vibrant acidity, and refined structure, and the domaine is now regarded as one of the new benchmarks of Beaujolais.
