Founded in 1835 by Philippe Louis Bott in Ribeauvillé, Domaine Bott Frères is a family estate now in its seventh generation, currently led by Paul Bott alongside his wife Gladys. The domaine farms roughly 20 hectares with an average vine age of 35 years, including parcels within four of Ribeauvillé's Grand Cru sites: Osterberg, Geisberg, Kirchberg de Ribeauvillé, and Gloeckelberg. The vineyard began converting to organic viticulture in 2019 and was certified organic in 2022. Bott Frères grows the seven classic Alsace varieties — Sylvaner, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Riesling, Muscat, Gewurztraminer, and Pinot Noir — across a range spanning Crémant, Tradition, Réserve Personnelle, Vendanges Tardives, and Grand Cru bottlings, with wines exported to more than 29 countries.
