Domaine Benoît Badoz is a family winegrowing estate in Poligny, in the heart of the Jura, where the Badoz family has cultivated vines for ten generations since 1659. Benoît Badoz took over the domaine in 2003 and has farmed its 10 hectares organically since 2012, following biodynamic-inspired practices such as lunar-cycle vineyard work and native-yeast fermentation with minimal sulfur. The vineyards are split between two historic terroirs, Les Roussots (limestone-rich marl) and Les Grands Roussots (clay-rich marl), both formed from Triassic and Liassic soils. The estate is best known for its Arbois and Côtes du Jura Vin Jaune, aged more than six years under a veil of flor yeast, alongside Vin de Paille, Crémant du Jura, and a full range of Jura's traditional grape varieties including Savagnin, Chardonnay (Melon d'Arbois), Poulsard, Trousseau, and Pinot Noir.
