Located in the Lalande-de-Pomerol appellation on the Right Bank of Bordeaux, Château La Gravière is a boutique estate owned by the Péré-Vergé family since 1985, now managed by Henri Parent. The 7.5-hectare vineyard is planted to 92% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc, and 4% Cabernet Sauvignon on fine gravel soils, with vines averaging close to 50 years of age. Winemaking is guided by consultant Michel Rolland, using micro-vinification techniques and aging in 50% new French oak barrels for 12–15 months. Annual production is approximately 4,000 cases, much of which is served as the house wine of Alain Ducasse's restaurants. The estate also produces a second wine, Moulin de La Gravière.
