シャトー・ド・シャンブラン

A modern Right Bank gem on the extension of the Pomerol plateau.

Château de Chambrun is a highly regarded estate located in the Lalande-de-Pomerol appellation on Bordeaux's Right Bank. Established in the interwar period as 'Clos de Chambrun', the estate was revitalized under the ownership of Jean-Philippe Janoueix in 1994, followed by Silvio Denz in 2007, and was acquired by Château Moncets in 2015. Today, spanning over 12 hectares in the commune of Néac, its vineyards lie on the direct extension of the prestigious Pomerol plateau. The terroir features deep black clay and gravelly soils rich in iron oxides ('crasse de fer'), which are ideal for Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Certified organic since 2023, the estate focuses on sustainable viticulture, gravity-fed winemaking, and aging in French oak barrels to produce rich, velvety, and fresh wines.
