Ceralti
チェラルティ
Five generations of Bolgheri farming, now organic estate wines.
Ceralti is a family-run estate in the Bolgheri appellation, farmed by the same family (now led by winemaker/agronomist Iacopo Alfeo) for five generations from their base in Donoratico, in the comune of Castagneto Carducci, Tuscany. Originally a mixed farm growing grapes, fruit, and olives, the family sold grapes to neighboring icons Sassicaia and Ornellaia for decades before bottling their own wine, producing the first Bolgheri Rosso DOC from the estate in 1997. Today Ceralti farms roughly 11 hectares of certified organic vineyards on the hills between Castagneto and Bolgheri, bottling Bolgheri DOC Superiore wines 'Alfeo' and 'Sonoro', the Bolgheri Rosso DOC 'Scirè', and a Bolgheri DOC Vermentino, alongside estate olive oil. Ceralti is a member of the Consorzio per la Tutela dei Vini DOC Bolgheri e DOC Bolgheri Sassicaia.
