Azienda Agricola Montefioralle is a small, family-run winery perched just below the medieval hilltop village of Montefioralle, within the commune of Greve in Chianti at the heart of Chianti Classico. Founded in 1964 when Renato Sieni took over vineyards that had belonged to the local parish for centuries, the estate is now run by the third generation of the Sieni family, siblings Alessia and Lorenzo. Farming just under 4 hectares of vines and certified organic since 2019, Montefioralle keeps production deliberately small (under 15,000 bottles a year) to focus on traditional, low-intervention winemaking: fermentation in concrete and aging in old oak barriques. The range centers on Sangiovese-driven Chianti Classico DOCG, Riserva, Gran Selezione, Vin Santo del Chianti Classico, and limited-edition Super Tuscan bottlings such as Il Guerrino.
