イ・ルオーギ
A husband-and-wife Bolgheri estate farming without chemicals since 2000.
Azienda Agricola I Luoghi is a small, family-run estate in Bolgheri (Castagneto Carducci, Tuscany), founded in 2000 by Stefano Granata, a former electronic engineer, and Paola De Fusco, an oenologist trained in Pisa, on an old property belonging to Stefano's family at Campo al Capriolo. The estate comprises approximately 5 hectares, with about 3.5 hectares under vine (Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Syrah) planted at high density, plus about 1 hectare of olive groves. Stefano and Paola manage every stage of production themselves, farming without synthetic chemicals or herbicides, and are recognized members of the Consorzio per la Tutela dei Vini DOC Bolgheri e DOC Bolgheri Sassicaia, with Stefano Granata serving on its board. The estate produces three wines: I Luoghi Rosso (Bolgheri DOC), and two Bolgheri Superiore crus, Podere Ritorti and Campo al Fico, both aged in French oak barriques.
